Hello, I am Autumn Nonnenmacher and I teach 3rd grade. I am a graduate of New Jersey City City University with B.A. degrees in both K-5 Elementary Education and K-12 History.

I commit myself wholeheartedly to the St. Mark community and believe every child can succeed. Creativity, compassion, and critical thinking are three of the values I instill in my students every day. I believe that student success is created through meaningful relationships. I am a passionate, student-centered educator continually seeking to improve classroom learning and school culture.

My mission at St. Mark is helping students to think critically. I have always insisted on having the highest expectations of myself and my students. I believe that children hold an infinite number of possibilities, and through developing a culture of high expectations, they can all achieve their dreams.
Along with academic rigor, I create a safe and welcoming learning environment for my students. Every child can reach academic and personal success if they are taught effectively, encouraged, and engaged. It is important for me to teach the whole child and build trusting relationships with my students, so they can find the joy in learning.
