Hello!

I’m Lori Markowski and I grew up in South River, NJ. I attended Corpus Christi Catholic Elementary school; what is now St. Mark Coptic Christian Academy.
I have a BA in Psychology from Rider University and am a graduate of Bloomfield College, under the Presbyterian Division of Nursing, and hold a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. I’m a Board Certified Registered Nurse, and I am proud of my 23 years experience in behavioral health and psychiatry. Additionally, I have specializations in trauma, traumatic brain injury, developmental disability, acute psychiatry, criminal psychiatry, substance abuse addictions, and recovery. I am certified in crisis intervention, risk reduction, and self defense.

To gain even more experience, I work in the neighboring community at a camp for special needs and am the recipient of the Bloomfield Township Community Health Award,and received acknowledgment in Nursing Spectrum. Lastly, I am published in the New England Journal of Psychiatry and Medicine.
