St. Mark Christian Academy opened its doors in 2022 under the inspirational vision and spiritual leadership of Father Mark Hanna. Making history as the first Coptic Christian school in the United States, SMCA was established to offer families a faith-filled, academically rigorous environment rooted in Orthodox Christian values.

From our early days serving young learners, our school community has grown rapidly. In response to this continued growth and high demand for quality Christian education, we are excited to launch the expansion of our Middle School program for the 2026/2027 school year. This expansion allows us to provide enhanced STEM learning, personalized instruction, and leadership development as our students transition into their crucial middle school years.

Building on this momentum, St. Mark Christian Academy achieved full Cognia Accreditation in 2026—a milestone reflecting our unwavering dedication to institutional excellence, high academic standards, and nurturing the whole child: mentally, physically, spiritually, and academically.
