Do I have to be Coptic to enroll at Saint Mark?

No, we are a Christian community that fosters moral and emotional growth for our
students. Students of all faiths are welcome; however, students are required to attend
religious classes and monthly liturgy services of the Coptic faith.

When can I apply for admission?

Enrollment typically begins in January for the upcoming school year. We accept
applications throughout the summer and on an ongoing basis.

Do you offer Pre-K programs?

We have a full-time, five-day Pre K-3 and Pre K-4 program.

How old does my child need to be to apply for Kindergarten?

Your child needs to be 5 years old on or before October 31st for Kindergarten.

Do you offer Before and After Care?

Before care begins at 7:00 am, and goes until 8:15 am when students can go into their
classrooms. After care begins when the school day ends at 2:50 pm. and is available
until 6:00 pm. Registration is required for our program.

Do you offer Special Education Services?

Compensatory instruction, speech therapy, supplemental instruction, and a child study
evaluation are available. These services are granted through the Educational Services
Commission of New Jersey. Certified instructors will be on the school premises to conduct these individual programs, if necessary. If your child has an existing IEP or 504 medical plan, it will be reviewed during the admissions process to evaluate whether or not the resources of SMCA can address the needs of students.

Do you offer a lunch program?

Prompt Catering LLC. provides an optional school lunch program to our students. Hot
lunches can be pre-order monthly.
